Unicorns, mermaids and faeries ... oh my! They're all real in Mischievous Goddess World! And they come to life during this inspiring art and craft series that is woven with ancient wisdom and mindfulness practices. Using materials found in nature (and a few bits of sparkle!) we will paint, build, weave, mould and create a variety of awesome crafts for your little love to treasure!
Goddess Arts & Crafts (Prospect Heights)
October 17: Week 1
Faerie Goddess Cordelia - We will make a beautiful faerie crown from recycled paper and faux flowers.
October 24: Week 2
Nang Tani - Thai Goddess of the Banana Tress. Our craft will be a garden inspired collage.
October 31: NO CLASS HALLOWEEN
November 7: Week 3
Mawu West African Goddess of Mother Earth. We will make delightful spirit animal snow globes.
November 14: Week 4
Maya Moon Goddess, the Mayan Goddess of rainfall and water. We will make traditional rain-sticks from cardboard tubes and beads.
November 21: Week 5
Grandmother Spider, Native American Goddess of creation and the stars. We will make a beautiful watercolor spiders web.
November 28: Week 6
Saravswati Hindu Goddess of knowledge and the arts. Our last class of the program we will make beautiful backpack jewelry with gemstones and ceramic beads.
